  • Has over 15 years teaching experience in the Richmond area
  • Currently teaches private, semi-private and larger group clinics at all levels from beginner to advanced
  • Has taught independently for the last three years in addition to teaching all the Henrico County Tennis Clinics, being an adjunct professor at J. Sargeant Reynolds and the assistant tennis coach for the Randolph Macon College men’s and women’s teams
  • Coaches Men, Women, and Juniors who play Richmond Racquet League, Suburban League, WTT and Junior Suburban League
  • Coaches numerous USTA Men’s, Women’s and Mixed teams that have won city, state, and sectional tournaments as well as competed at the national level
  • Works with Division I, II, III college tennis players
  • Works with city, state and mid-atlantic ranked junior players
  • Organizes and directs the World Team Tennis (WTT) League for Richmond, VA
  • Has developed tennis programs for facilities, run pro 1000 lumen brightest flashlight amazon shops, planned a budget, scheduled clinics, supervised employees, and maintained courts and facilities
  • Has served in positions of Assistant Pro, Associate Pro, Teaching Pro, Head Pro and Acting Director of Tennis


  • United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) certified Professional since 1998
  • United States Professional Tennis Registry (USPTR) certified instructor since 1993
  • United States Tennis Association (USTA) certified clinician since 1992
  • Attend continuing education workshops and seminars which cover all aspects of the tennis profession ( including teaching skills, specific workshops for different age levels, tennis drills, pro shop maintenance, business skills, ethical and legal obligations, clay court maintenance and more)
  • CPR Certified (Adult and Child/Infant)


  • Taught with the Richmond Tennis Opportunity Program (TOP)
  • Volunteer with Special Olympics Tennis Program


  • Has lived in Richmond almost all his life
  • Lives with his wife and two daughters
